Every Tiger in the Woods is playing golf these days

I dress for golf

The expert, as you all can see,

Always dresses tidily

When he goes golfing at the Links.

For I am sure the whole world thinks

That in this game, before you start,

You should always look the part

Then confidence will help you play

A better game of golf that day.

Steady does it

This is tricky

Some golfers play the gentler game;

It's golf, but by another name.

They use no club but just a putter.

As they go round you hear them mutter:

"Oh Dear, I hit that one too slow.

Will it, will it, will it go?"

Or: "Perhaps I hit that one too fast.

It missed the hole and went right past."

My name is Easy Nevermiss

Gently does it

Dads are always good at this

They rarely ever seem to miss,

Except when Mum is there to cheer.

Then the ball goes nowhere near.

I think this means the golden rule

Is no-one standing close at all.

Or if they are, then silent stay

Until the ball rolls off in play

Well hit, Sir!

I do it my way

Now some think golf is just a joke

And do not play a proper stroke.

Or should they miss the ball by chance

You see them do an angry dance

Then, breaking up their golfing stick,

They give the ball a vicious kick.

Like other sports, 'tis sad to tell,

Golfers may not behave too well.

Get off

Very Sorry

Down in Oklahoma State

This groundhog has become irate.

Just settling down to rest in bed,

A golf ball hit him on the head.

However hard our Grandma tries

She cannot play with open eyes.

The only way to get it right

Is keep her eyes shut very tight!

Hit it, Grandma!

I am starting to get it right

"Practising makes perfect play."

That is what the wise men say.

Eye on ball and steady club.

A pleasure to watch is little brubb.

You will never see him kick the ball

When playing Putt, he knows the rule.

He will grow into a very fine golfer

With sox and shirt the color of sulfur.
