It's a hard life, being a pig

Good Morning

An Oinklet, going out to play

Is happy on a rainy day

But if the day is very hot

Happiness he has not got

Unless he finds a pool of mud

To cool him down and soothe his blud.

When the sun begins to swelter,

First he rests, then runs for shelter.

If there is no lemonade

The next best thing is finding shade

For dozing in the mid-day sun

Is never his idea of fun.

Golly gosh I need a wash

It's very hot again today

The sun, alas, I don't know why,

Moves on beyond the shady sty

And leaves poor Oinklet, hot and shaken,

Sizzling like tomorrow's bacon.

It is time to find his favorite spot

Where he can lose unwanted hot.

And this is it, you will agree.

At last he settles happily

Cavorting, splashing in the splod,

Where many a pig before has trod.

See the smile upon his face?

The happiest in the Oinklet race.

I like this!

Time to go home

I smell good today!

Now Oinklet has a human friend

Who says that good things have an end.

And Oinklet, top to toe in slime,

Was told: "Come on. It's your bath time."

So, always ready to behave,

Oinklet went off home to bathe.

We see him here with Evans Junior

Smelling like a Pink Petunia!
