Sheep come in all shapes, sizes and temperaments.

Here are some of my sheep friends.

Some sheep are very tidy

And, some sheep, they are not.

A girl must look her best, you know,

Making most of what she's got.

It's no good being careless

About your woolly fluff.

To scratch against a bramble bush

Is really not enough.

For Euan Ewe it will not do

To go about untidy.

You'll find she always looks her best

When supping out on Friday.

Some sheep enjoy adventure.

That's what they really like.

What better way to exercise

Than going for a hike?

To pack a lunch and wander off,

Then graze the upland hill.

As once their sheep ancestors did.

Some are nomadic still.

But they are not all adventurous.

Some like to stay at home,

Keeping close to Mummy Sheep.

They don't like to be alone.

Especially the little lambs

Whose frolics, skips and jumpies

Never take them far away

From Mummy's friendly bumpies.

Some sheep, I hear, are not so bright

And have not too much brain.

They hardly know their day from night

And sit out in the rain

.

This hairy sheep can't find his feet.

They're hidden beneath his coat.

He looks at all the other sheep

And thinks he is a goat.

Now this one is a happy sheep.

Her name is Danielle.

She is full of fun and mischief

As her smiling face will tell.

She thought she'd like to have a swim,

Jumped in the farmer's sink.

Spilled a bottle of tomato sauce

And turned her wool bright pink.

Though sheep can make us happy

They can also make us sad

For sometimes they are well behaved

And sometimes they are bad.

Just see this little maiden

As tears fall from her eye.

We know she loves her little sheep

But they sometimes make her cry.

My name is Mustard
